Fall Fine Art Exhibit Opening "Cutler to Paris"

The Deering Estate at Cutler welcomes artists from our community partner, The Bakehouse Art Complex, who will present richly colored and lively works. Participating artists Juan Carlos Arana, Jennifer Basile, Christian Bernard, Alain Castoriano, Michael Gellatly, Andrea Favelli (Silice), Patricia Schnall Gutierrez, Gerry Stecca.

“Cutler to Paris” will have an opening reception on Wednesday, October 17th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Deering Estate at Cutler. The reception is free and open to the public and works will be on display from October 13 – November 2, 2012. The Deering Estate is open Daily: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm; Exhibit is free with Estate admission.

Featured during the Deering Estate Foundation’s signature event “Wine on Harvest Moon” on Saturday, October 27th, this exhibit is linked with this year’s theme of French wine, food, and culture.

The Deering Estate at Cutler’s Art on Loan Program has been successful in attracting art and artifacts for public display or exhibition, which has included all forms of historical documents and artifacts, fine art created for aesthetic purposes and fine craft created for functional purposes. Our Exhibits and Collections Advisory Committee, representing leaders from local galleries, cultural organizations and museums and academia, works with the Director of the Deering Estate at Cutler and the Exhibits and Collections Staff to identify unique opportunities for collaboration in interpretation and exhibition.
