Teacher Planning Day Mini-Camp

The Deering Estate at Cutler offers Mini-Camps for children ages 6-15 on teacher planning days. Each Mini-Camp theme is Sunshine State Standard correlated. Campers will enjoy the beauty of nature through hands-on activities such as hikes, catching critters, nature photography tours, experiments and more!

The theme for the Mini-Camp on Friday, April 6th is "Principles of Conservation". A special guest will join us from 10:00 am to 10:45 am - Lynne Hudgins from Nature's Natives will provide the "Water Needs & Supplies" presentation. Wander Water guides this animated journey as we find out not only why we need water but also where to look for our water supply.

Camp hours are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Early drop-off and late-pick up are available for an additional fee of $10.00 per day for any combination of early drop-off and late pick-up. Early drop off is from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and late pick up is from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

The cost for the Teacher Planning Day Camp is $38 for one day. Please note there is a one-time $12 annual camp registration fee.
