Affair En Plen Air

Saturday, April 18th 10 am - 4 pm & Sunday, April 19th 10 am - 1 pm; Judging at 3:30 pm

The Deering Estate at Cutler and GroveHouse Artists will host a two-day “En Plein Air” (in the open air) painting event juried by Marcelle Zanetti. Artists will be painting on the grounds of the Estate on Saturday and Sunday, where guests can admire their work in progress. Judging of the art will take place on Sunday at 3:30 pm in the Royal Palm Grove.

Winners will exhibit their work at the 2009 GroveHouse Artists Spring Art Exhibit in the Richmond Cottage at the Deering Estate from May 14th to June 13th. Prizes will be awarded at the exhibit opening on May 21st.

The entry fee is $40 for GroveHouse members; $50 for non-members. Application deadline is April 4th. To register, complete the registration form and send it directly to:
