Children's Birthday Parties

The Deering Estate at Cutler provides a unique environment where children of all ages can enjoy a party with their friends and family and experience all the Estate and South Florida has to offer.

The Park offers four unique and interactive party packages to choose from: Archeology Adventure, Gone Buggy!, Pioneer Tea Party and Pirate Treasure Hunt. Each party package includes a theme related craft, program and a series of party games.

Birthday parties can be held on Saturdays and Sundays, depending upon staff availability. Host may begin setting up at 12:00 pm. Host must begin clean-up by 4:00 pm. The Estate closes at 5:00 pm.

Each birthday package costs $300 and includes admission for up to 30 party guests of any age. The cost for any additional guest is the regular admission to the Estate: $7 Adults and $5 Children (ages 4-14); Children 3 or under free.

Please note that there is a limit of 20 children participating in the Education & Interpretive Staff guided activity. These activities are not appropriate for children younger than age six. This guided activity will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Price includes the following:

• 2 hours with an Education and Interpretive Staff Member
• Equipment usage
• Craft materials if applicable
• Use of Royal Palm Grove picnic area or the Pump House patio from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• A Deering t-shirt for the birthday child
• A Deering Certificate for the birthday child

Party host provides the following:

• Pre-prepared food
• Paper decorations
• Party favors
• 1 chaperone per 10 children

Due to the Estate's status as nature preserve, no balloons, balls, Frisbees, kites, bounce houses, or on-site cooking is permitted.
