Environmental Education Providers (EEP)
The Deering Estate at Cutler is a proud participant and supporter of the Environmental Education Providers of Miami-Dade County, Inc. (EEP). The Environmental Education Providers of Miami-Dade County, Inc. (EEP) was founded in 1997. They are a consortium of local not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, universities, public school educators and administrators from Miami-Dade County, who share a common interest in providing environmental education to our community. EEP meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month (except August) at a host location, features speakers for continuing professional development of our members and participants, and collaboratively plans programs to jointly further our shared missions.
EEP Mission Statement:
The Mission of the Environmental Education Providers of Miami-Dade County, Inc. (EEP) is to develop through environmental education a South Florida community that has the knowledge, skills, attitudes, motivations, and commitment to work toward solutions for current environmental problems, prevention of new problems, and preservation of our natural resources for future generations.
There is currently no membership fee and any organization wishing to attend meetings is welcome. The group usually meets every second Wednesday of the month. Please view our shared calendar of events. You may also contact the EEP Project Coordinator at 305-807-8090 or coordinator@eepmiami.org for more information.
