SoBay Festival of the Arts 
The SoBay Festival of the Arts is an annual celebration of the literary, performing and visual arts. The overarching goal for SoBay Festival of the Arts is to provide an opportunity for the community to come together through the arts. The 2012 SoBay Festival of the Arts will kick-off February 14, 2012. The ArtSoBay Exhibit Opening will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012.

"Moonlight & Music" Valentine's Day Concert
The "Moonlight & Music" Valentine's Day Concert at the Deering Estate offers couples the opportunity to celebrate their love at a romantic, outdoor concert under the stars, on the edge of Biscayne Bay. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. The concert will be held on February 14, 2012.

Deering Seafood Festival
Enjoy South Florida’s freshest fish and seafood while taking in the magical sights & sounds of the Caribbean on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Activities include: cooking demos by local celebrity chefs, art exhibits, the Li’l Shrimp Kids Zone, pontoon boat rides, tours of the historical Deering Estate and more! Bring your family and friends and plan to spend the day!

Living Artist Concert Series
Enjoy classical chamber music in the historic Stone House Ballroom where the superb natural acoustics provide the perfect setting. Concerts are performed by the talented Deering Estate Chamber Ensemble and noted guest musicians and composers. The Living Artist Concert Series combines performances with lectures, visual art exhibits and interpretive programs. Concerts are held once a month from October through April.

Cabaret Concert Series
The Deering Estate's Cabaret Concert Series features eclectic and world music artists in the intimate setting of the Stone House Ballroom. The Cabaret Concerts are held on Saturday evenings in the Summer (June, July and August).

Mother's Day Brunch
Guests can taste appetizing dishes and desserts, provided by Bill Hansen Catering, tour the grand Stone House and historic Richmond Cottage, and take in the lush natural beauty and grandeur of the Estate. The Mother's Day Brunch will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2012.

Wine on Harvest Moon
Join us under the golden light of the Harvest Moon over Biscayne Bay for our annual fall wine tasting event on Saturday, October 27, 2012. Enjoy fine wine, fine food and fine art!

Ghost Tours
Everyone loves A Great Ghost Story! Now you can have your own paranormal experience if you dare to join us. In partnership with the League of Paranormal Investigators, learn about the many “Voices of the Past” that have lived in our community. Hear about the sightings and experiences from the actual paranormal investigation of the Deering Estate. Ghost Story Tours are held on the Third Thursday of each month and begin on October 20, 2011.

Holiday Events
The Holiday Season of Events at the Deering Estate includes: the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Story-time & Kids Crafts with Santa, a Holiday Bay Cruise, and the Deering Holiday Wonderland - where visitors can tour the elegant and historic houses as they come alive with holiday accents and decorations.

Fee-Free P.L.A.Y. Days
Enjoy complimentary admission to the Deering Estate at Cutler on the following days: JULY 21, AUGUST 18, & SEPTEMBER 15, 2012. The FEE FREE "P.L.A.Y." DAYS were created to honor the Deering Estate's partner organizations and the community. We invite our guests to "P.L.A.Y." - Preservation, Learning, Adventure, Year-Round - and enjoy the many tours, educational programs, and special events that the Estate has to offer.
